Welcome to the Local Agenda 21 Pilot Project

The Local Agenda 21 Pilot Project is an initiative
implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government
(MHLG) with support from the United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP) and in co-operation with the Economic Planning Unit
(EPU) of the Prime Minister's Department.
The mission of this pilot project is to implement
the Local Agenda 21 process in four selected local authorities
and to use lessons learnt from these four sites as guidelines
(for replication) for the other local authorities in the country.
